Installed the EX5023 plate with the rosette rivets. Finally getting it's Engineering designated name back.

It will be this week. I was just messing around when I made this one but decided I liked it. Yours will be just like this one but with your numbers. The rosette rivets are on ebay. Since it's an Engineering tag and not a vin tag, it's legal to use the rosettes.

The engine will be completed in about a week. Just in time for Bowling Green!

Man, is that an illusion, or are those cam covers unmarked? No corvette emblem or label indentions? I bet those are most difficult to find, but I would love a set!

This is a PhaseII engine. Simplex chains and different castings. The castings are fairly rough and have no Corvette identification. There are very few production LT5 pieces that will interchange with it.

Tyler's PhaseII engine is the only other one known to be a running example. Not an engine you ever want to run over 4k for very long. Delicate inernals and VERY expensive to rebuild.

Very cool stuff, if you're into history.
