That window sticker is from the NCM.
My guess is, the car has a VIN and GM did intend, at some point, to make the ZR-1 available for MY 1989. A price list must've been available and accounting had to 'account' for it.
It was charged to the Central Office (COPO) and sent to tech engineering in Warren, MI.
I'll look forward to hearing from those that know👍

What a great and historically significant car this is. I am very happy that you ended up with it.

It looks great because of your previous ownership.

This is very cool! Such a piece of history. Do you plan to drive it at all? I'd love to see the atari 8K tachometer lit up! Congrats on a beautiful car!

I do intend to drive it, sparingly. It has its original wheels and tires which I'm not going to seperate. I'll put together an extra set for driving and when the car isn't being shown.
We hope to take it thru NCRS American Heritage and whatever Bloomington Gold might offer, as well as a ZR-1.net get together at some point...maybe in Bowling Green.
It's a cool car so, we want to give people a chance to check it out.
I agree, the disco dash is pretty cool👍
(many of the pics were taken when the car was owned by Steve Bramati, a member here)

I remember this car, from what I understand this and the Yellow Geneva car and # 3 a Red car are the only production ready 89s out there. I saw the Red car years ago,got pictures of it somewhere. Gorgeous car.

This car is listed on the Barrett Jackson website. 2017. And I recall they also may have sold it originally in 2008. Eric Jackson had two of the cars if I recall correctly. He may have owned this one.

Thnx, George
I do know the owner list on this car...
GM
Collector in OH
Collector in IL
Collector in TX
Dork in KY
I would like to know what the car was used for during GM ownership before it went to the Heritage Museum.
