Just purchased a Blue/Blue 87 for interior and anything else needed for trim. My car was built in July 87 and this car has everything needed to trim the car out. Even a glass top, carpet kit and seat covers in the box. The fella that had the car wanted to help contribute to bringing the ZR1 back to life. His name is Brian Russell. Super guy.

There are a couple of automatic conversions out there she might be interested in.

Not only that but they were practically in your back yard!

It was Xmas in Nov today. Picked up these two NOS pieces for the rebuild, plus three empty birdcages that were used by General Tire, Marion, IN for panel fitment. GT made panels for GM. The three birdcage/frames have never been stamped with a vin. Great race car parts. One birdcage/frame will be canilbalized at the frame shop so EX5023 can be made whole again. Roll over hoop and windshield frame parts.

What were the odds of coming across an NOS ZR1 rear upper surround panel and luggage tub???

Yep, only about 30min from me. The parts had been sitting outside for over two years. I bought the rear bumper last May.

Got my 87 Blue/Blue donor car today. Perfect for all the interior trim and under hood small components. Even has the blue tint glass top and an unmolested dash. New capet kit and seat covers in the box. Radio and electronic heat/air work.

This is going to be fun!!
