Ported vs stock airhorn
Its winter so time for boring posts
I was surprised at some of the difference in widths in some areas....notice the lip is radiused/blended in AC bump is reduced significantly http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...f/DSCN6196.jpg |

Re: Ported vs stock airhorn
Aside from opening it up to accommodate say 63mm throttle plates, I think simply grinding out the horn a bit could be stopping short of what might be the better approach, i.e., something like the venturi horns on the Webber carbs maybe???

BUT, I like the surprise factor especially. Whatever pumps up the performance w/o tipping anyone off...heh, heh, heh.... :dancing |
