Home Car Lifts

Getting the gararge ready for new ZR1. Looking to buy one, however not sure what to look for? The 7,000 economy ones look fragile. Maybe it is the brand??? What is everyone's experience with them? Looking for some good guidelines.

Get a hold of Nick on the forum. he just got a lift about a month ago. Me and a couple of other guys helped him install it.

Chris, I have a 4 post outside slider design lift made by Gemini Lifts in Texas. Gemini makes many of the 4 post lifts you see sold under several different brand names. I had problems getting the correct parts for mine, but it is all sorted out now and it works great.

Any pictures yet, and how much did it run you?

Anyone ever look at a lift from Liftsunlimited "Perfect park 7000" - IT appears to be well made.

About $3,500 including shipping, casters, drip pans and a 12 inch jack tray. Assembly and "loaded" pictures below.

I thought you had pulled the ZR-1 out from under the 55' and put the Merc on the bottom??????

I'd love to, but no can do. Can't get the '55 up high enough for the Mercedes to fit under it. Mercedes is almost as tall as the '55! But at least all the toys are in the garage.

Nice set up Nick, but I don't see how you can even fit a car on the lift and another below it with your garage ceiling clearance
It looks to me to be about a 10' ceiling with maybe an 8' clearance with the garage door open.

Optical illusion. The 55' sits far enough back out of the way of the garage door. It is close, but it works.
