A/C gauge readings

I thumbed through the Service Manual but didnt see what i was looking for.

What should the high & low side gauges read when the system is fully charged?

this is for a 1992 with a R12 system that is all original.

many thanks!

What is the Ambient Temperature outside? Humidity?

This should help

Keep in mind that your pressure is actually going to be a little higher than what the PT chart says unless you have a big box fan moving air across your condenser.

Thank you everyone and don't know how i missed that chart.

Temps tend to be high 70's/low 80's, humidity around 45-50%. will make note of higher temps without a fan blowing across the condenser.

as always this group is top notch and extremely helpful.

big thanks to all.

Also looking at the PT chart you can see why R134a will put a bigger drag on the motor than R12
