I bet he's pissed......Paid 60,500 new,sold it for less than half that..First and second owners have taken a beaten on these..

Interesting article but still some "left handed" compliments. A C5 Z51 the equal of a 95 ZR-1?? Really?? And no performance advantage?
No mention of the 24 Hours Distance and Speed Record and how no other Corvette has even attempted to duplicate that. Frankly, this is the kind of article that hurts the car as much as someone thinks they're helping. It continues to re-enforce the meme that the C4 ZR-1 is really a technological oddity. I think our Registry needs to inform some of these pundits to how vibrant a community and following the ZR has. And that in the hands of DIYourselfers, the car continues to be very competitive and relevant and a blast to drive. |
