Looking for a plenum accelerater cable clip..Anyone?
 

Hi guys. Does anyone have an extra accelerator cable clip (for the top of the plenum) laying around that I could buy? This is for '92 to '95 cars with ASR. I believe it is GM part number 10168625. My yellow car is missing one and I would really like to put the correct fastener on the car. http://i678.photobucket.com/albums/v.../LT5engine.jpg

(I don't mean to insult anyone's intelligence as you probably didn't need a picture to know what I am looking for, but sometimes it helps!)

If anyone would be willing to part with an extra, I would be greatful!!!

I know I have seen something similiar trying to recall, you might actually try ACE hardware, I want to say they had something close.

Thanks for the tips guys. To be sure, there is nothing so unique about this clip that can't be solved with a little ingenuity, and that may be what will happen. It's just that I already have one correct one, so another match would be ideal.

I'm in no special hurry and will post up in the "parts wanted" section.

That is where the car is right now, as of Sunday night:dancing In line for the 510 package!!!!

If I can't find the correct clip, a substitute will be made. Still hopin' to find the right one though as everything will look so nice when the motor is refinished.

How about Y-me down in Florida. he's wrecking/parting out 2 Z's. Maybe he could supply a clip for your year?

Thanks for the suggestion, Franke. I am not sure if he is also parting out the LT5's or if he would want to take any parts off of them. I am also not sure if he would have the correct '92 - '95 clip.

But, that is a good suggestion, and I will certainly check with him. Thanks!
