Will any year C4 jack work on 92 ZR-1?
First post by new owner (00289)
First, the ZR-1 forum search has answered most of my many questions and appreciate the willingness of folks to share their knowledge. Getting the jack out is somewhat of a pain so I looked on e-bay for a factory jack, from the pictures I could not tell if some on the contact surfaces are the same. Will any C4 jack work on the 92. Thanks in advance Steve Short, Fair Grove, Missouri |

Welcome to the forum and the addiction (as I like to say). Can’t answer your question, but tell us more about your Z and yourself....

Forget the factory jack and get an inexpensive scissor jack...
Stow it in the the bin behind the passenger seat along with a real wrench & extension for removing the lug nuts. Works better and is probably safer to use. A can of tire goop, a plug kit with wire cutters for pulling out the nail and a cheap 12v compressor ain't a bad idea either. Of course if you rip a hole in the sidewall or tread, you're screwed.... |

The 90-93 jack had an integrated handle in the jack and the 94-96 you had no handle integrated so you had to use the Wheel wrench handle behind the seat however all will fit and all will work. GC
