You are good for 2017. The shirts should ship in February. The design was just approved and now we need a fairly accurate count before the shirts are made and shipped to us to package and then ship to each member.

There is a process.

Thank you. Guess I now need to get the wife a membership since we bought one for her as well. It's a 90 dk/red tan. Spent a couple of weeks in Marc's shop getting completely serviced, new radio with navigation and camera, new injectors and chipped. Will be delivered here in a day or two.

All,

Just wanted to update you on the status of the shirt. Our vendor contacted us to afford a better quality shirt than what was originally submitted. We are now able to have a 6oz. Hanes T rather than the original proposed 5oz. cotton for the same cost. As you know colors don't usually match between vendors, so we have selected an alternative color, Deep Royal, which the Board agrees does an even better job in presenting the graphics. As it turns out, the original Cobalt we presented is actually more "purple-ish" than the .jpgs showed.
So I have attached .jpgs of the ACTUAL SHIRT samples I have received from the vendor showing the Deep Royal color. Also attached a side by side w Deep Royal on the left and the original Cobalt on the right.
Our 2017 shirt has proven to be even more popular than the 2016 shirt with orders running ~ 20% ahead of last year. So we are placing our order now but the Board did want to make you aware of the change, albeit, we think one for the better.

Dom...I think the royal blue color helps make the graphics "pop" and more visible. Great choice, thank you for what you do 😊

Thx Ami. That's what we thought also. The actual Cobalt has some red in it which bleeds the red in the graphics. Deep Royal makes for a brighter contrast.

Fantastic design and art. I love that you guys revived the EDS morrison stuff.

I recently scored a sweatshirt and shirt from Hib that was original race team stuff from Morrison. Love it!!

When do they ship? I joined at Carlisle.

The front is the graphic of the World Record Run. The rear is of the Tommy Morrison and Lemans vehicles.

If u ordered the Long Sleeve as part of ur membership, then yes. Otherwise, the shirt and plenum key chain comes through Merchandising. You can contact Robert DeMarco for that.

Strange they would show them as being available in February if that is the case. There is also the plenum key chain that was paid for as well. What is the status of that? I would suggest items not available not be posted for sale.

I just checked the Registry store, and the only T-shirt I see for sale are the remainder of the 2016 T. The 2017 shirt is only available as part of the 2017 membership packet which are in process of being mailed. Once membership packets are fulfilled, the remainder of the shirts will then be offered on the Registry store.

We're making progress. Its a pretty involved process w lots of little steps.

About half of the orders are in envelopes. These exclude multi-shirt orders and International orders due to additional handling, documentation , and different packaging necessary.
Inkjet printers don't like batch printing much, so Mark and I are improvising getting labels/postage done. In the meantime, there is an initial batch going out Monday.

All membership packets are now assembled. Tomorrow, postage and labels will be affixed to packets. Shipping on Saturday and Monday. International packets out a day or so later due to paperwork requirements.
