1967 Tuxedo Black L-89 427/435 Convertible with Red Stinger and Interior

1967 Convertible, Tuxedo Black with Red Stinger and Red Interior L89 427 CI 435HP Aluminum Head Engine with Tri Power Carburetors and 4 Speed Manual Transmission. Removable Hardtop with Optional Black Vinyl Covering, Headrests, AM/FM Radio, Posi-traction Axle, Transistorized Ignition System, Side Mount Exhaust System, Bolt-On Aluminum Wheels, Redline Tires. The paint is beautiful and shows no road rash. The Red interior is as new, and coupled with the Tuxedo Black Exterior is one of the most sought after color combinations. Add BIG Block and Side-Pipes and you now have what could be one of the finest and most desirable mid-years available. The Engine Compartment is highly detailed, and the undercarriage is even more so! This car has it all! The engine presents as a matching code and numbers L-89. The casting numbers on the cylinder heads are the correct 3904392 used for the L-88 and L-89 that year. Believed to have spent time in a Museum which is certainly supported by the car's overall condition. Car is being sold by the estate of the owner and no documentation has been located at this time. 1967 Corvettes have been one of the most solidly priced Corvettes in the market today. Beautiful restorations such as this one continue to command top dollar and when found in one of the most appealing color schemes, like this one, are sure to draw a crowd. Don't wait too long to contact us about this car, as you may find that someone has beaten you to it! Yes, it looks as good as one would expect! Photos Coming Soon! . . . . $ 197,000.00

Nelson, I will indeed let you know

Although, if supporting documents are located, that will have a profound effect on the price.

Will keep you in the loop.
Thanks,

Car was cited as an example of one of the 16 L-89's by Noland Adams in his 63-67 Restoration book published in 1988.
Car was identified by VIN in the citation.

Car is now sold.
Thanks for looking.
Marty
