OK, thanks Gary, thats what I ended up doing the other day ... luckily I had a siphon and could take fluid out as needed to get it full to the top without it spilling out HAHAH ---

Sorry but you are wrong Hib, I used to own a TTA , #5 to be exact.

They require different headers than the Buicks.

J-Bonez the engine in the 89 TTA Trans Am was just the Turbo Buick 3.8 lc2 engine but with pontiac heads. Could have been planned for it , but I would expect Pontiac Power Valve covers? :) ---

I was interested in getting a cargo mat, but was then told I had to be a member too?

The early messages in this post just say you have to be a verified Lingenfelter owner.

I agree 100% George ... I figured out Optimas were only good for me when they were in Daily Driver cars.

If they were in anything that sat they went to junk fast and took a miracle to get them...

I only saw the code 12 once, then when I erased it I never saw it again.

OK, I finally got a chance to go out and use my setup.

It said I had 1 stored code ... "Code 12" but no current codes.

I erased the stored code ... started the car up , and now the "SYS" alert...

WOW, I used to own a 1991 Syclone Truck and they talked about the "purple wire mod" to the solenoid.

Is that an issue with our ignition/starter system too since they are both GM and of the same...
