Re: Barrett Jackson Fall 2024

Great collection - I had a feeling someone would be posting it soon! Saw it posted Friday and would give a kidney (or both) to have '95 #380. What a beautiful car and a CLEAR windshield!

This...

Re: New replacement windshields

I can only speak for myself that it was wishful thinking, and the idea that Safelite might know something. So it didn't hurt to ask questions. They clearly have no idea.

It's been nearly six...

Thank you. Where are you seeing the latest issue? The latest I see in the members only section is #64 from Q3/Q4 2023?

Re: 1989 ZR-1

Incredible work on the reconstruction. And to have logged 32k miles (who knows how much it had before prior). I really like the white pearl. It checks all the cool boxes for sure with the '89...

Re: 1989 ZR-1

That one is especially interesting! It's early enough that it has '88 seats. At what point in the '89s did they switch to actual '89 seats? It's probably lived an interesting life as it has some...

Re: Corvettes at Carlisle Celebrity Choice Winner

Congratulations! @John - didn't you previously have a yellow '95 that you sold to a gentleman in Kuwait? I can't remember what # it was offhand. Looks like you found another one? Which #? I'm...

Re: 2024 NCRS National Convention

Thank you for sharing the pictures! Great event but bad timing to get there.

I just got back from a trip which included stopping at the museum Sunday (yes I saw and appreciated your car and...

Re: New replacement windshields

Seems like a great time for a reminder of a terrible windshield. :-({|=

I hadn't littered this particular thread with it, yet. Updates never hurt, I guess. For some reason it has not improved...

Re: 1994 ZR-1 Heart of the Beast Cover Car

Man, what an awesome piece of ZR-1 history! Quite the list of accessories, as well. Super unique - should do well! (Excellent, well-written ad, by the way.) Good luck!

Re: Got my Admiral back from Marc's

Wow, so exciting, congratulations! The 378 sounds awesome. Let us know how it runs! Beautiful Z, but you already know that. I bet a 378 would look good in my yellow, too. For now I'm content...

Re: Tire pressure sensors

Thank you. Just checking on both and not finding them offhand. I'll keep searching, though. To my surprise, however, Corvette Central has brand new NOS rear GM A-Molds for the ZR-1. They are...

Re: Tire pressure sensors

There was at one time, someone remaking the stickers for these that go on the outside of the wheel. Does anyone know who that was, or who might have some? Thanks!

Hi Mark - yes, that makes sense. I see what you mean. Agreed, that the no-milers will continue to bring the most. Thanks for your post!

Re: Goodyear F1 vs Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4

I have the PS AS4 on my ZR-1. I like them. I wish they looked a little more aggressive, but they were a great investment and don't flat spot. The car sits a LOT (I can't see well out the...

Re: 1994 #150: New member and new to me ZR-1.

Great comparison, thank you! Makes a lot of sense. I had custody of my dad's C6 Z06 for about a year, and I thoroughly enjoyed that car, fast as all get out (not a C7 Z06 obviously) but this was...

Re: 1994 #150: New member and new to me ZR-1.

Congrats here as well! Looks great after the detailing! I am sure you will enjoy this car a LOT! How's it compare to the Z06? I'm with you, I wanted a ZR-1 literally forever, bucket list car for...

Re: FS: 1995 Black/Black Dual Dunn ZR1 23.4k miles

I'm so sorry to hear of your illness. I'm familiar with brain issues as my dad had three aneurysms. He had corrective surgery at 69 but passed away a month later with a pulmonary embolism. I...

Re: New replacement windshields

It would be interesting to document serial numbers, but likely unrealistic. I've seen a few of the early '95s with problems. #10 is advertised for sale currently and it looks to have been replaced....

Re: Oil Pressure/Gauge Question

My '95 is pegged for part of the drive, especially when it's cold. I think it needs a new one. The car runs great, but still has a small vacuum leak I should address eventually.
