Re: RH upgraded Cam tensioner Group Buy.

Hi Kurt, greetings from sunny Spain. This embarassing rattle that starts after a couple of seconds, and lasts about as long, could make some people secretly think my car is not as good as I say it...

Re: OBX header install

I agree with all these above comments. My new headers were fitted pretty straightforwardly, and we now have all 32 bolts installed. We did not do anything about coating or heat matting - do we risk...

Re: OBX headers experience

They are good! And thank goodness the social do-gooders didn't stop GE from building that factory in China! (not that I suspect for one minute they are fabricating the OBX headers in there)....

Re: OBX headers experience

I don't know where they were manufactured. I bought them off US Ebay, from somewhere in the US, so I guess some of the profit went to reducing that famous debt! Anyway, historically, the biggest...

Re: BEST Exhaust w/Headers

Well, we fitted OBX headers onto a Corsa that was already on the car, and it fitted perfectly! Is the 3 inch piping somewhere else?

Thumbs up OBX headers experience

Just had these OBX headers fitted by Redline Estepona. They charged me 16 man hours, which I think is very fair. The car is original and has done 130k, so the RH header was extremely difficult to get...

Re: Throw out bearing noise.

In my humble experience, the throw out bearing noise only occurs if the bearing itself starts revolving in its housing. The noise makes you think a tomcat has got in there, and has got it's chebs...

Re: Frame VIN stampings

Yes, that is proving to be a real headache for me here in Spain. The bureaucrats here are demanding the full 14 digits as proof that the car is a genuine article. Any ideas how anyone else has solved...

Thumbs up Re: Need advice on rear shocks???

Hi, I've just checked and I got my shox from vettepros.usa, not Lingenfelter. Sorry for the mistake. Lingenfelter, Carolina Clutch, Rock Auto, Bill Boudreau, they are all great, friendly and highly...

Re: Need advice on rear shocks???

I also have my old set here in Spain. If anyone wants them, they can have them for the cost of the postage, plus lets say 10 euros for packing.

I have just had new Wagner cylinders from Rock Auto fitted. The mechanic says that the pedal travel with the new master is less than it was, so the clutch start switch no longer gets set when the...

Thumbs up Re: Summit 10% off of Bilstein "sport" shocks

I've just bought a full set from Lingenfelter for 780 smackers less postage, so taking into account their support for the ZR1 family, I am very happy to deal with them and hopefully keep them happy...
