Ok!


So i did some stethoscoping when the engine was running.
I scoped the entire engine and i did not hear anything out of the normal, specifically on the valve covers and oil pan in places.

The noise is for sure there in the video it happens 2 times both near the end.
You have to turn up the volume to hear it but its there.



I have not driven the car at all because of this...

Hmmmm interesting info about the Marc H chip there.
Can I just remove the DRM chip and still run the car as a "stock" tune?
I ask because on JDM cars like subaru's and nissan's you have a socket...

Ok.
The grade of gas i have is Shell 91 V power.
I use it because it does not contain ethanol.

I like the idea of using a scope on the motor once this noise happens but, its very hard to catch....

Replaced the connector at the VSS.
Still does not work.....

Going to order a new sensor now and try that.

Interesting on the whole hot running deal back in the 90's.
I know my stock 93 Subaru Legacy Turbo gets worst fuel eco than my newly found 95 ZR-1! And the Subaru is a turbo 4 cylinder lol.
