Re: #2517 make it back to the registry?

Hey Yun, good to know it's still out there. I'll see if Mike will hang onto them until he sees you, so you can hang onto them until you see the car again. :) Thanks!

Also I'm glad that spare...

Re: Corvette/Car books for sale in NoVA

I'd be willing to split things up now, let me know if there's any interest in any of 'em. Or if my price was absurd, or whatever. I also have All Corvettes are Red (and Snake Bit which is not about...

#2517 make it back to the registry?

Did the owner of #2517 wind up on the registry or hanging out with WAZOO or in any other way become identified? I have some papers (window sticker, build sheet) that are specific to it that I'd...

Re: Corvette/Car books for sale in NoVA

You might be thinking "Bob, why would I buy these from you at what are basically the same prices as buying them new/NOS?"

The reason is, all of these books/magazine are also included in that...

Corvette/Car books for sale in NoVA

Apologies if this should go in the FS forum, but it's not a ZR-1 nor ZR-1 parts, and I'm not willing to ship.

$110 for all. (please read to the end to see what "all" includes) I'm not at this...

Re: Anyone familiar with 1990 #2376?

I thought there was wiring that ran across the frame there, but honestly it's hard to remember those kinds of specifics.

Initially the dealer would only flex < $500, but suddenly they are willing...

Re: Anyone familiar with 1990 #2376?

Heheh, no not really. A friend was interested in the car. The dealer is pretty firm on the price though so it probably won't happen.

Re: Anyone familiar with 1990 #2376?

Yeah, it seems like if it were just the bumper, that would be pretty easy to remove and do right. However, it has been at two dealerships at least, so it may have been painted due to some chips or...

Re: Anyone familiar with 1990 #2376?

Also, the paint on the wire conduit suggests a respray here, right? I recall the underneath looks pretty spotty from the factory, causing a lot of people to think cars were resprayed. But the fact...

Anyone familiar with 1990 #2376?

I know the basics, bright red/saddle two-top car. Anyone know the previous owners, or anything about its ownership/driving history? Thanks!

kwiklift for sale

Sold

Some of you might remember Sean from a few of the drag racing get togethers. He had the red LT4, and then the silver C6.

He's selling his kwik lift and a bunch of extras, if anyone is...

Re: Mason-Dixon Mustang/Corvette event result

Charlie, you can get a set of stock-size Kumho Ecsta XS tires for about $900 delivered from Tire Rack. Installed would probably be under $1100. I think you'll find they are about as grippy as they...

Mason-Dixon Mustang/Corvette event result

The weather was great and once again the ZR-1's were the main Corvette presence (one C6 'vert also ran the 1/4 mile).

Phil turned a 12.08 @ 117 in his own car, and piloted David's car to a 12.55 @...

Thanks for the heads up, email sent! However, I think this has come up many times in VA in the past and never gotten anywhere. But hopefully this time!

Dave, those times have changed. I've...

Re: Ready for the oil catch can...

The oil has fuel in it, I believe one of the purposes of the PCV system is to evacuate any fuel blowby and keep it out of the oil. I suspect they can not catch it and be EPA compliant, so the fuely...

Re: Non-stock wheels/brakes? What about spare tire?

I got a '09+ CTS spare wheel/tire kit. The bolt pattern is correct, but the hub size on the wheel is slightly too small. It needs to be machined, but wouldn't be a big problem. I never machined it...

Re: GB: DRM Coilovers

Hey Carter, if you look at that posting, the part that is missing is how much to cut the rear frame.

The link at the beginning of that thread, back to CF, has a picture of the frame cut. But then...

Re: GB: DRM Coilovers

There are a few things that we did/need to do that I thought I'd clarify.

One is, Pantera, we did not follow your suggestion for cutting the bushing. Cutting the bottom one seemed like a bad...
