I never followed up on my vent issue. It turned out to be the vacuum line to the ac controller was pinched between the plenum and injector housing.

Permetex Moto Seal , aka Yamabond 4 to old motorcycle guys, is excellent on oil and water related gaskets. It's also very easy to remove when you have to reservice the part again.

It doesn't seem to be a common failure, but I've heard of two. One was a stroked stock crank that was apparently nitrided with the plugs in place and developed a rear plug leak. Nitriding may have...

That's probably a good question for Graham.

When pulling seals in motorcycle engines, I drill a small hole in them, then screw in a sheet metal or wood screw. Then grab the screw with vice grips...

Yes, vinegar is an overnight process. That's actually a good thing as it works in a slow, controlled rate that won't wreck the part.

Talked to Carter and he can custm make brackets for two cable 90-92 cars that will mount on a 93-95 plenum. Solves the bracket problem when swapping a 405hp plenum on to a 375hp car.

Throttle Cable Brackets?

I'm installing a '94 LPE plenum on my '90 and apparently the throttle cable hold down brackets are different from the earlier cars. Would anyone happen to have a spare set of 93-95 brackets for sale?...

I have an LPE plenum that's missing the driver's side coolant fitting. The little L shaped macaroni doohickey. Would anyone happen to have a spare, before I turn to fabricating something?

If you place a floor jack in the right place, the whole catback will balance nicely. The center of gravity is near the rear spring loaded mounts on a Corsa.

The ac fuse may not stop the blower. The blower is wired directly to the battery through a fusible link. The power feed to the blower control module is always hot.

You can pull the power supply connector on top of the blower case. That's a lot easier than disconnecting the battery.

May be a bad blower control module. It's on top of the blower box on the passenger side. May also be the blower motor relay.
