Re: 90 ZR-1 #2273 - To be rescued

I've been going throught the car from underneath the last few days, and discovered something peculiar. The whole rear subframe seems to be offset towards the drivers side by just over 1/4", which...

Re: ZR-1 Friendly Jack and Ramps?

It is indeed. Approved for approx 7700lbs, and sits flush with the floor when fully lowered. Lifts almost 6 ft.

Re: ZR-1 Friendly Jack and Ramps?

These do the trick as well. Please ignore the semi-finished garage. The left pallet contains the tiles, and the right ones has the workbenches/cabinets.17519

Re: Best Sounding Exhaust for the ZR-1

Very nice indeed, Roy. Didn't know you had headers.
Does it still allow for a quiet cruise during the long hauls?

Are there cats on your setup?

Re: C68 HVAC Programmer Compatibility for 1990

You could ask Batee. I got the info from them a couple years ago.

Re: C68 HVAC Programmer Compatibility for 1990

They are indeed different, but you'd might be able to use a later programmer on a 90 with some modifications. If I recall correctly, the early cars have a different AC request signal, which can be...

Re: Kinda Quiet In Here....

Indeed. Facebook is useless for finding info at a later stage. A good place if "likes" is your preference.

High Coast- / start up idle

I've always had periodic high idle (1500-1800 RPM) while coasting and just after start up. It did improve with the Haibeck chip, but it's still very much present. My throttle body has also been...

Re: R-12 to R-134 conversion

This is correct? You do not need to replace expansion valve, compressor, condenser, pressure switch etc.?

Is there any way to tell if the system is already converted?

Drier and orifice...

Re: Replacing the Bose speakers

I'd just like to mention, that a 5 1/4" does not "fit" at all in the stock enclosures. At least not without wreaking havoc on the enclosures. Replacing just the front plate would leave you with very...
