Re: Radio / amp / help

If your handy with a soldering pencil/gun you can repair them yourself. 95% of the time it's the capacitors. I did mine and a few spares. Below are some useful links.

Re: Makes no sense to sell...

The collectors market as a whole is down. Cars are selling for a lot less than they did just 2 years ago. Apparently people are investing their money elsewhere.

Re: tire pressure monitor question

I just seen that they are paying to fix it. I would not eliminate them if that's the case. The previous owner of my 90 had all 4 replace when the young tire mechanic broke all of them. The tire...

Re: ECM Labels "SNAPSHOTS" & confirmations

I learned something new today thanks for the info. I just assumed that all ECM from 94 to 96 were sealed and programmable didn't know that the 94 & 95 ZR-1 were not. I'm only familiar with the 90 &...

Re: ECM Labels "SNAPSHOTS" & confirmations

I started researching the ECM label when I found a error in the NCRS 90-91 Judging Guide. They had the wrong service number (part #) listed for the L98 and B2K. The service/part# for the L98 & B2K is...

Re: Creases and Folds on Seats

I've tried a number of products one being Bag Balm which a lot of horse owners use on their leather saddles (it's also works great for chapped hands). Regardless of what you use the trick is to let...

Re: ALDL Bluetooth adapter

The developer for the ALDLdroid is a very supportive of his product and is quick to respond to any issues you may have either with the app or the files. Well worth the money.

Re: Warning labels for wheels

Yes GM (Nov 1990) list 10180847 as the replacement for 10074342. As for sticker shock they are not cheap. What I don't like is CC shipping/handling cost on small items like these.

Re: Warning labels for wheels

I had search for some time until I found the correct ones for my 90. The seller had 6 of them and I bought them all for $114. I would rank them up with the tire valve caps which are even harder to...

Re: Warning labels for wheels

Part number 10074342 was the label used for the 1990 and earlier. They were discontinue in August of 1990 and are hard to come by.
