Death in Silver State Classic
A 71 year old California man was killed this weekend when his '97 Porsche 998 rolled on the last curve of the course! His daughter was riding shotgun as navigator and got out almost unscathed! She couldn't get her father out before the car burned.
Only 3 drivers/navigators have paid the ultimate price to drive their cars at the limit in the 27 years of the Silver State Classic! The last in 2011.
