As I asked earlier, what did the "refurbished" battery cost you?

Purportedly, NCRS judges a car as it was delivered from the factory. I don't feel it is appropriate for you to obtain no point deduction because it is impossible for a 30 year old original battery to actually still be working (without modification). Anyone judging the car who does not understand this and doesn't judge the battery as modified is being disingenuous. I see it as a legitimacy issue.

I am interested in the cost since on line 13 of the 1990 MY Mechanical judging sheet a standard deduction for a service replacement is only 10 points or 50% of originality. A 0.2% loss for the entire car.

I'd like to do the cost per point calculation myself.
