A bunch of shaping, filing, and sanding, and the limit stops are in place thanks to a template and some geometry,

Next, I built up the stop on the base of the tensioner in the same manor as the limit stops above:

Last modification to the pivot arm is to grind off the original stops since they are not needed. This is purely cosmetic, but I chose to do it anyway:
