I spoke to the owner- seems like a straight up guy as he came clean on some stuff.
He says the car is in good shape, no lights on dash or DIC, runs well, headers but stock other wise. He has owned it for 18 months and has only put 500 miles on it. I got the feeling he is not much of a car guy.
He said he bought it from the second owner who owned it in Houston for 10ish years.
However...
It has a "Salvage" title as a result of being stolen and striped back in the day, but assured he that the reassemble was done correctly (?). Also, the car has been resprayed and will need tires soon.
I asked for more photos and the VIN. He said that he will send it this weekend.

Might be good to have him bring to my shop if possible and maybe Don (32valvesftw) offered to come look at it too. Two sets of eyes may be better. Give me a reason to pay him back for some help with some great Mexican food from that area.
