Day 25 ? Greensburg, KS to Branson, MO
Sunrise on the Kansas plain:
This is Stray. Stray was sitting on the pick up work box without a leash waiting for his owner. The owner said the dog showed up at his house and wouldn't leave. Every day Stray runs 4 miles to a children's park and plays with the children. Then he runs 4 miles back to his home. Stray is a good dog:
We were driving east and when we reached Joplin, Mo. We encountered several US-66 restored locations. This store welcomed travelers heading west:
You gotta love the open road:
We arrived in Branson in a rain storm. The traffic was heavy (after crossing Kansas, anything would be heavy traffic). I doubt that this is the original movie version of the Ghost Busters car:
