I rescued #2822,1990 Z back in 2018 from Myrtle Beach SC. It had been just sitting for many years. 74k miles on the clock. I started at the fuel tank and worked my way forward. Got tags and insurance May 2020. I have driven her over 6k miles so far and plan on many more. Get a shop manual, electrical supplement and dive right in. It is a well engineered machine and is a blast to drive. I have learned so much about this machine through this site, Mark H and many members on this site. It's very satisfying wrenching on this beast. I still have so much I want to do to my Z, slowly getting there.
