Sorry this took me so long. One is just in a hardcover, with a folder that includes tabs to separate the sections ... and photo slides. The other is a softcover that folds out and is closed with velcro. It doesnt include the photo slides, but all paperwork is the same. Most of the pictures are the same, but there are a few different ones between the two kits I received. I have Mclellans signature on one , and Duntovs signature on the other
