Default Dyno Run!

Okay not quite. I found a electronic dyno for my samsung galaxy. Seems to do it's stuff. Does anyone know if these things are anywhere near accurate?

It does make pretty pictures...

That wasn't my ZR-1 by the way, it was my Saturn Vue coming home in the middle of traffic lol

Does it have you put in any car data like weight? or model so it can look up the weight?

Hey Scott, there are a number of things you enter - several of which I'm not sure about as yet.

Pitch Characteristics
Roll Characteristics
weight
additional weight (fuel, passengers)
drive train losses
rolling resistance
drag coefficient
frontal area
minimum speed rpm (says 1400-2500 is typical)
maximum speed rpm (redline)
minimum speed (road speed at 2000rpm)
maximum speed (road speed @ max rpm)

If anyone can enlighten me on any of these I'd appreciate it!

The app is only 5 bucks, just thought it might be a bit of fun and maybe good enough for "before/after" type comparisons.

Thanks

Dave
