Default Re: mechanic

How severe is your issue? How handy a mechanic are you?
A BIG help is to use this forum to look up your problem
and see if you can handle it yourself.

Beyond that, most basic C4 problems can be handled
by usual auto mechanics and "corvette centers."
You could even talk to the mechanics at a Chevrolet
Dealership and see if they work on many C4's
or who they would recommend. Be Careful!

A specific deep LT5 issue is another story.
Some local owners report hit and miss success
with local referrals. Some are also lucky with
finding a ZR-1 enthusiast close-by to help with repairs.
Ie come over and work together. Then there are some of us
who shipped our cars out of state to a known & trusted shop.
From Calif they are in Chicago (Mark Haibeck, Pete P)
and Texas (Corey Henderson)

Good Luck!
