Cowl rise hoods
So this have been discussed before, I like the TP hood, but if there was one with less rise I would be all over it
There is a Guy on CF having a new one designed made.. here are pictures of the one he cut and modded.. What are everyone's thoughts? I have my opinion but curious on others

Re: Cowl rise hoods
I am not a fan of high rise hoods, but I do like the lovers. But if I were to purchase one, I would want one not too high.

Re: Cowl rise hoods
Very similar to the Morrison Sankeskinner ZR-1's. The louvers are a little larger than the Morrison cars.
I like the 1" rise of the Morrison cars.

Re: Cowl rise hoods
like the slight rise, not interested in dumping water all over my engine every time i was it assuming those vents are functional. If they aren't functional, then I'm really not interested

Re: Cowl rise hoods
I like the 1" rise and the louvers too, with reservations on the latter. As Kevin pointed out, I'd not be too wild about rain soaking the under hood. But, if that were addressed somehow, i.e, functional too, far as removing heat from under the hood, I'm all over it! Carbon fiber, by chance??? If so, I'd be pulling out the checkbook!
