Yes it does, but be careful there are twice as many VE tables to deal with because of the secondary throttle system. There are a few here on the forum that can help you with that if your so inclined.

So I picked it up Tuesday and it seems to run really good but I noticed the miles per hour were off by 14 miles to fast so I figured I was gonna have a problem fixing that so I looked on Carfax call the vet doctor in South Florida to ask about the service history They give me the previous owners name so looked him up on Facebook. He told me he had 4:10 gears installed but the mechanic never change the ratio gear in the transmission so that explains my miles per hour difference he also said he had a DRM chip programmed by heiback and a Borla exhaust. Excellent I’m getting a hundred smiles per gallon

Nice little bonus! Last I looked Haibeck sells a speedo drive gear for the 4.10. Just pop the speed sensor out. The gear comes out with it. Put the new one in and your done. Have fun with the new toy...

Welcome to The Brotherhood of the BEAST! You sound like me. I do everything but engine and trans tear-down (cuz there is so much talent in my "hood" that I trust to do it! [Chicagoland]). So, you've come to the right place for all things ZR-1!

Welcome! Sounds like you landed a good un!

I don’t think that there should be a 14mph difference between speedo readings in a trans that has a stock speedo gear and 4.10 gears installed. You may want to double check with Marc about that to be positive you have the correct combination.
Those two “small computers “ next to the battery you mentioned are probably the primary and secondary injector drivers that interface between the computer and the injection system. It is VERY rare for them to need replacement. Without them your engine will not run well. Make sure that they are secure and in their original location to keep them away from contamination.
BTW, I also replaced my 89’ L98 6 speed coupe with a 91’ ZR-1.
My first reaction? OMG !!!!

Where are you located?

Yes big difference between the l98 and the zr1. I’m in love. Lol I spoke to mark Friday because there’s a drm chip that he reprogramed make the secondaries work. He said the previous owner was having problems with the secondaries I mention the 14 mile an hour difference. And he all but Confirmed it’s because of the gear in the transmission. But the car seems to be running great I change the oil today. I’m in Pembroke Pines at the moment. But I live in Pensacola I also work in the Virgin Islands.
