Great article and my take away from it is if you are not breaking in a new cam then these oils will work for the LT5.
Shell Rotella T 10W30 Chevron's new "Delo 400 LE" 10W30 Valvoline VR-1 Racing Oil Mobil 1 High-Mileage 10W30 Joe Gibbs Hot Rod Oil 10W30 Red Line Synthetic Oil 10W30 Some of the above could be used in a break in situation but I was not focusing on that. I was looking for what is currently acceptable for LT5 already broke in. I picked these from the article and there are others, maybe someone can fill in the others. Please correct any mistakes I have made. Trust me when I say I am not an expert.
