Default Brake master cylinder question

will a 1992-1995 Brake master cylinder work on a 1990-1991??

there is an extra port on the outer side of the reservoir which I am guessing if I put fluid in the reservoir it will leak out that port.. Can I cap it?

it looks to be a Brake Prime hose?

Get the reservoir from a 95/96 car. It does not have the port.
