The transmission rear seal is NLA form the GM supply system. (according to the guy at Sport Chevrolet) .

I got three from Vintage Parts Inc http://www.vpartsinc.com/

Part number is: GM 10140538

Not to rain on any parades, but would it make more sense for someone to post up if they urgently need something, than to maintain a list of what is out there?

I started an Exel spread sheet.
Those who need a copy, send me an e-mail address and I will forward.
Any additional volunteered parts, I will add to the list.

I know what you are saying Bob, but this way has much higher visibility. I think that people will be more likely to seek local help if they know that it has been offered.

This list (the Wazoo Parts Inventory or WPI) doesn't stop anyone from asking about other parts or supplies they might need.

One of the things that I discovered in the last week of 2 mantenance sessions was that if you get five or six ZR-1 owners together, there is an amazing amount of knowledge available. Several times someone would point out a problem they weren't able to solve on their Z, and someone else would offer a soultion, or at least something to try.

Heck, just trading the extra interior screws I had for the ones I was missing was worth a lot.

Like Jim said;

1. Incredible what can be done w/ access to a lift and wealth of tools Jim provided.
2. Incredible increase in "can do" attitude with 4-5 guys being able to discuss and contributing in ideas and labor.
3. Everybody has their own experiences and knowledge - together, sum adds to beyond most typical mechanics I have dealt with.
4. Above all, it actually was incredibly fun to work on a car rather than doing it despite misery (at times it can get miserable) because I had to, alone.
