The last piece (always) is chasing down commitments from others - the last minute details; like assembling an LT5 in the dark! just nailing down schedules that are out of his control is rife with last-minute changes (how many times do YOU cancel an FBI pizza nite to attend other priorities?). So, aside from the particular event times/dates, etc., and the RACING theme, and knowing the Registry has some track "credits" too, about the only thing left was organizing those particulars into time slots; the AGENDA. AND...as a special surprise, there are a few special features in store too. (But, to see them, ya have to be there!) But, as always, Jeff, the best part of the Gathering (as Kevin says), "It's the people!" Sorry you can't be there. We'll miss you! Extraordinary job, Ted!

Re: When will the Gathering Agenda be posted?
Yes, I agree, It's the people, but having an agenda helps too..
Anyway, As I mentioned some years ago, the Board should have one member as the PM ( Project Manager) and get other members to help with planning. I don't get why it has to be board members always doing all the work. but I don't want to stray off topic too much, so I will stop now

I tried that link and it just sent me to a sign-in page for the ZR1 forum, even though I am already signed in.--Bob

Re: When will the Gathering Agenda be posted?
I do event planning for the company I work for and I know what a pain it can be. Something with this many moving parts has to be almost impossible. Would it be nice to have this out a few months in advance, sure, but sometimes it's out of your hands. ****, I spent two hours hounding the guy who I hired to come sling coffee at my last event to even show up and he was still 3 hours late, stayed an hour and then bounced.
Things happen. Time lines get blown, it sucks. It's not fun for those planning anymore then it is for those wanting to attend. I for one love this agenda and I'm working on making my way down this year.

Re: When will the Gathering Agenda be posted?
It looks like a great time and I'm eager for my 1st Gathering!! Finally put some names to faces, and inhale all things ZR-1 related..... As was mentioned, we all know life can get in the way of all things. So kudos to the board and all involved for making this happen. Can't wait....

Re: When will the Gathering Agenda be posted?
Ha. I'm so geeked out by the agenda I went ahead and made room reservations and travel plans. Will sign up as soon as registration forms are posted. This will be my first Gathering, and I'm so excited about it I can hardly blink.
