I would think the Billet Aluminum Dipstick Handle would be of interest

a. The original plastic is often cracked and hard to see.
b. The original plastic handle is easy to remove from the metal dip stick with a hammer
c. The New Carter Billet Dipstick Handle can be easily attached to existing metal dip stick.
d. The New Carter Billet Dipstick Handle can have etched the exact engine oil used.
e. The original Dipsticks are hard to find if a replacement is needed.
f. The New Carter Billet Dipstick Handle would be easy to see and match other Carter Bling.
g. If you change your mind on the etching, just get another Billet Aluminum Dipstick Handle and replace.
h. And Last but Not Least.......there might be lots of LT5 Dipsticks available that have otherwise been discarded because the original Plastic Handles are cracked.

And Carter.....TO MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT FORGET

AMSOIL 10W-40 Etched in Red Letters on the Billet Aluminum Dipstick Handle.

Default TB Coolant flow Bypass Plug and Air Locked Water Pump

A few of us Block Off TB Coolant. Most of those that do Block Off TB Coolant Bypass TB Coolant using the TB Heat Bypass Line made by Marc Haibeck or similar hose that accomplishes the Coolant Bypass of the TB. This leaves the Coolant flow to the Coolant overflow tank in front of the passenger side Intact. This reduces the fear of an Air Locked Water Pump.

That leaves only a very small handful (less than a handful actually) that blocked Off TB Coolant as well as Plenum Coolant (Top of Injector Housing Coolant Port). A Total of six Allen Head 1/8 inch pipe plugs are used. The Coolant Flow Path through the Plenum has nothing to do with Cooling the Plenum but only a route for Coolant to/from the TB and a vent for the air trapped in the Injector Housing Coolant Manifolds and Water Pump. And.........that coolant flow through the TB has nothing to do with cooling the TB but rather heating the TB. Only this very small handful of ZR1 owners would need the Coolant Bypass Plug described herein.

I have experimented with the Air Locked Water Pump and have found a fool proof way of eliminating that issue once and for all. My Plenum can come off at any time in minutes with NO Coolant draining or spilled. But I digress here

I'll post a pic of it tomorrow. It is the same size as the zr-1 bumper emblem and the LT5 and the bowtie are also the same size. I was asked to make one and did. Painting in the engraving tonight then I'll take some pics and see if I can get it posted so you can see.

Thanks for asking, Carter

Did you make some for Dennis Derr? I saw those on his 93 ZR-1 and liked the look.
