I remember you! The lumbar support in the passenger seat worked just before you looked at it and again after you looked at it ... Honest.....
I'm still "high" on obtaining the Top flight!!!!!!! Oh, and I found that date sticker on the seat frames that Gloria couldn't find (and I didn't know existed)... The whole thing was a great experience!
Thanks,
Doug

I think I remember him too. I think he was the second member of the ops team for the Boston National. He didn't like the way the rear compartments closed.

Hey Doug, When I did the tour of the assembly plant in BG, you would not believe the various part stickers that I saw on the floor. I wonder how many 1990 seat stickers never made it to the car when assembled.

The '94 (#188) I just purchased was Top Flight. Unfortunately the dealer that the car was trade in to destroyed the paperwork which was left in the car. I contacted NCRS and was told there is no way to replace it or to get a statement confirming it was certified. The last owner of the car who is active in NCRS, Chuck Beard, said that it was one of the three cars used to write the judging guide for the '94 - '96 years and received a score of 98.7.

I am very disappointed in the dealership and the fact that there is no way to get a copy or a statement. I joined NCRS and I will start researching what is involved in going through the process again.

I thought it was a one time deal on the Top Flight judging?? Once a car has been through it, it's over??

I agree, but then how many Top Flight cars have their paper work thrown away?

Things I don't like about NCRS

"I contacted NCRS and was told there is no way to replace it or to get a statement confirming it was certified."

Harley has a saying: "Screw it, lets ride!". I say "Screw it, just drive it!"

My 95 (#378) received a chapter level top flight this past June. Scored 99.4% or 4477 out of 4500 points. Gary Cline's 95 also scored at a top flight level in the same meet. So that's 2 more for your list.

well first what a dumb *** dealership why in the hell would the destroy the paperwork history of the car unreal...

As for NCRS im pretty sure that the owner at the time who had it judgged can get a replacment cert.. id check on that one, maybe they wont give YOU one but they should give him one...
