Default Fuel Pressure Problem

I am not getting enough fuel pressure for the car to drive. It will idle, but any throttle results in the engine breaking up. In checking the various possibilities, I found that I have no power to the fuse for the second fuel pump. Does any one know a source for a complete wiring diagram for the relays, the fuses and fuse blocks and the pumps?

Thank you,

Book 2 of the Factory Service Manual set has the diagram you at looking for. If you don't have them for your particular year look on eBay.

Second fuel only come on during startup and when the ECM calls for it during hard acceleration. Otherwise the main fuel pump supplies all the fuel engine requires.
How much fuel pressure do you have?

Phil

Thanks for the help. Found the wiring diagram and traced the problem to the fuel pumps.
Do you know any source for the internal hoses and the fuel block? Mine are not bad but would like to replace them while everything is apart.

Again, thanks for the help

Check with local auto parts stores. Gates hose 5/16 x 1 ft. # 27093. And
Gates hose 3/8 x 1 ft # 27037.
Also check with Carter for a billet fuel block.

Be sure you get high pressure, submersible fuel line. The wrong stuff will melt in your tank. Might soak a piece in a jar to be sure.

Sorry,
If you check with Gates it shows submersible fuel line. I should have said
that on my last post.

And one ft of hose can set you back 30 bucks. It is available on Amazon. Get high pressure clamps too. Not the low pressure screw on the side type.
