We also purchased from the tire distributors that were heavily into racing and they kept us abreast of the latest and best tires available. The guys we purchased from even had a gas pump that dispensed VP next to the ramp where we drove up for tire changes.

I also seem to remember that Mich were on the 89 testing cars and the 90 cars well into the model year 91 when Goodyear brought out the Z rated GS-C.

I could care less. I go for current tech not old stuff. I will just have the kids make swings out of them or use them for planters, if no one trades.

I feel real sorry for the people who bought and kept these cars as investments, I think Madoff made up those ad campaigns.

You show poodle/trailer queen guys always crack me up.
No I was simply answering the question you asked...
"Well then, would you list the 1991 cars that were delivered with 1990 manufactured tires made by any maker, ever.."

This little sticker from 1991 shows I was one of the very first members to support the registry, for you newer guys.

You must have quite a few membership stickers being one of the "older guys."

Any pics of subsequent cards?

No big deal, you have to know there were lots of cars that sat unsold for 12-18-24 months back then and they would not sell until they cut them 25-30k. GMs hype did not fool we smart ones. we sat and watched the fools and their money separated then bought the same thing 12-18 months later for 50% less than what the "collector/show/investor crowd paid, sad chevy got to rob those people like that and get away with it.

My 91 was bought in late summer of 92 right as the 93s were getting ready to roll onto lots. It then sat for a year while in arbitration over them not being able to repair the ECM shorts. That is why I was thinking the tires would be later date codes.

GM offered a buy back or replacement on my car and then settled by allowing me to modify and correct their ecm and then warranting the car for as long as I owned it, for anything I did not modify. It is the most worked upon LT5 car in GMs production history. Each and every time they came out with a production change part it went in for the retro fit.. thru 1997. My warranty work sheets just about fill up the black briefcase /folder.

Then there were the little modifications, anything that would make it stronger or faster was done. More than once....because as a computer scientist we always do things 2-3 times Test tune then tear up.....repeat until it does not blow.

Yep all in fun..... Should have seen me trying to put the 70lb 15 YO Pit-bull on the LT5 motor.......that was Funny!

Guess the trailer queens, red toy poodles had him cornfused! There's multiple cars on this 160 acre hacienda that would be up to the doors getting blown off challenge.
