Default speaker

I have an intermittent screeching noise from my left front Bose speaker.
Can anyone confirm whether it is the amplifier or speaker ?

Amplifier failure - disconnect the amplifier or send it to Doctor Don in Huntsville TX for
repair. Replacements are available in salvage yards too - I think Nissan uses a similar amplifier.

Yes, sounds like amp. As has been mentioned, you can replace it with one from a 95-98 Nissan Maxima equipped with Bose or you can repair it as is shown here:
