What are the particulars for your success with the 94 secondchance?

Nothing special. Have you tried running a R/W CD?
I noticed cars from that era, although seemingly identical head unit, later year cars can read R/W whereas earlier year units can't.

Got it. Audio CD on and leveling turned off. Works great.

Me too. $5 KMart cassette adapter with iPod cord. Not high tech but works great with iPhone. Also keep a lot of CDs in the car--last place I can use them!--Bob

As I understood the CD Player changed mid production. I think 92or 93 which could read the burned CDs. That player is able to 'plug in to the earlier units'
