Default First points race at OSW

When to the first points of the season at OSW. I just finished having the pump
replaced on my 4l8OE trans, because of it not having enough line pressure. Now
the trans-brake works just fine. I did not want to race in the points at this time
I was able to get to make two passes to check out how the car would run.
The first pass at 11:51 am netted me a 7.449 @92.10 . My 60 ft time was a 1.666 in the 1/8 mile. tires were set at 27 lbs launch rpm at 2600 rpm and
shift at 6800 rpm.I have gone as fast as 7.471 @ 94.31 last year with 25 lbs
of air in the tires and 60 ft time of 1.671.
The second pass at 2:12 pm I changed my shift point from 6800 rpm to
6500 rpm. launch rpm and tire pressure remain the same netted a 7.370 @ 93.80 mph with a 60 ft time of 1.611
Had a good time car ran well but driver needs more seat time. My buddy
Fuzzy dice went to the final and took 2nd for $300, he was a happy camper.
