1965 Corvette Convertible - Nassau Blue with White Stinger, White Convertible Top with Black Interior. As you walk up to this magnificent car, the first thing that you notice is the beauty of the new Basecoat Clear Coat Nassau Blue Paint that looks near flawless. The new Side-Mount Exhaust System then catches your eye, and then you notice the White Stinger Big Block Hood. Now wait a minute, at first it looked like a full-on NCRS restoration of a 65, but with a 67 Hood? Something must be going on here! Yes, something surely is going on here! Aside from the new White convertible top and the new 67 Rally Wheels, you are still left wondering what are you actually looking at? The Black interior looks near new, and then you see that beautiful Teak steering wheel. You notice that the radio has been updated, but most all else looks stock.
You then raise the hood....... Immediately, things begin to make complete sense! A VORTECH Supercharger!!! The engine is a 355 CI truck "10-20" cast iron block with 4 bolt mains and a forged rotating assembly. Pistons are forged Flat-top design with 8.25:1 Static Compression.The engine was built in Virginia Beach by two ASME and GM Performance Certified Professionals. It has 72cc aluminum chamber heads, a moderate hydraulic roller camshaft, and MSD Ignition. The induction system includes a Vortech Centrifugal Blower producing approx. 13 psi max boost. A 650 Holley XMP Blow Through version carb with no choke horn completes the package. A rebuilt Muncie 4 speed transmission, rebuilt Differential,Trailing Arms, Drive shafts, Half shafts, suspension and Brakes, Cooling System, Fuel system, Wiring Harness etc. The work is all professionally completed and now dynos at 570 horsepower, and is ready for you to enjoy! This is a mid-year with a serious attitude, while proudly and appropriately wearing the NJ License Plate " Grinnin"!
