Default Zr-1 half mile speeds?

Thinking about signing up for a half mile event here in Ocala in January. What do the Zs run? I have a Haibeck chip and some Watson headers with a gutted Borla exhaust with no resonator currently. What would I run? How about if I got porting done on the plenum and inj housings?

When we had a group run a few years ago in the Chicago area C4 ZR-1 were running from about 138 to almost 160 for Al's 441 beast. Most ran in the 140-145 range with some mods, say a 500 hp package. Can't remember the exact speed, but I recall Pete's runs were closer to AL's than the average range.--Bob

Al ended up running 160+, Pete’s 5.7L ran 154. My stock bottom end motor ran 144 w porting and cams. Altitude/humidity of course may affect this somewhat.

I ran when Bob and the FBI boys were running that day.
90 with the 510 package, stock rear end ran 146-147 for four runs that day
as a side note....at the end of the 1/2 mile ....get it to stop asap! we did not have a long shut down. If you do not know how much room you have, on the first run get up to ....100 110 or so and know how much room you have.
and also know where the 1/2 mile end is so you can get off it asap.

wannagofast.com has all the Ocala info. It's held at a private air strip. John Travilta lives there.
