What a crazy time I have had getting a personalized plate here in Pa. When I lived in Md. my plate was ZWILD1. So when I bought my 91 Z a few months back I decided to go with the Pa. antique tags. Initially they said I had five numbers / letters. So I was going to use ZWILD as a nod to my Md. plate. Then they inform me that I have only four letters/ numbers available. You sure can't do much with just four. Of course 91ZR is not available. I don't like my current plate which is 73c6 . I laughed when I saw it cause I said no a 73 is a C3. Anyway I'm waiting for my plate which will read ZR91. The guy I bought my car from lived in Minnesota and I really loved his plate. Personally I think the Pa. plates are ugly.

My plate read ZR1 until I moved to Pennsylvania. I then went for antique plates but was told it might take 6-8 weeks for the antiques. Since it was late Spring, prime drive time, I wouldn't be able to drive it until the new plates arrived by mid summer. I opted to buy standard PA plates and apply for the antique ones. This totaled about $250. This was on a Thursday. The following Monday, four days later, my antique plates arrived. 0035. Jim
