Default Which Catalytic converters?

I am looking for recommendations based on cost, performance and ease of installation. I have Maximiser headers and a 3" MagnaFlow catback.

Here is an example of 3" Magnaflow MPE-59959 7.75" length cats connected to a 2.5" Corsa system using Stainless Works SS transitions http://www.stainlessworks.net/cart/p...oducts_id=1295

Damn, Phil, SO CLEAN! Looking great!

Depends what you want the catalytic converters for.
Pass Smog Sniffer? Get the biggest ones you can.
Decrease the gas exhaust smell? I agree with
Bullet cats as Phil shows. I got metallic foil
(not ceramic substrate). My cats are the lowest
part of the underside and get hit/dented. I don't
want ceramic substrate breaking off and getting
sucked back into the engine.
Performance? No cats.
Sound? You'll have to hear different set-ups.
I had a muffler guy weld in (2) flanges in my exhaust
each side. I can run bullet cats, monster cats,
or straight pipes.

I don't need them for emissions tests anymore, I just want to keep the smell down. Thanks for the info about metallic substrate. Looks like I'll go with MagnaFlow.

Thanks
