Tyler's PhaseII engine is the only other one known to be a running example. Not an engine you ever want to run over 4k for very long. Delicate inernals and VERY expensive to rebuild.

Very cool stuff, if you're into history.
It is VERY cool stuff. I have to ask, do you plan on driving this car or will it be primarily a show piece? I'm not going to argue with you whatever your answer is because (a) I can see validity either way and (b) it's YOUR CAR! LOL. I'm just curious. I would be frightened to run it with that motor, simply due to the potential for disaster, and then where are you? OTOH, the guys that say they run around with a GM ZR-1 experiment and a prototype engine belong to a fairly exclusive club!

No driving on the open road for this PhaseII LT5. Just on/off the enclosed trailer. Just one big conversation piece. I like anything rare and/or historic. It will go good next to the 53.

May pick up the PhaseII motor this weekend. The car will be back from paint next week.

Very nice, I like the colour. Do you guys do any "wet sanding". I remember as a kid "wet sanding" Dad's tropical torquoise '57 283 PP car with 2000 grit paper.

Keep up the good work.

peace
