I saw a C6 ZR1 give me a hard wave and give me a thumbs up while I was driving the Z today. I assume he was telling his wife there is a C4 ZR-1

Yup.
245 out of 448.
Next highest is Torch Red at 59 units.

What I find a little odd is according to an owner survey I read some place, maybe on this site California has the most ZR-1s out of all of the States. So when I do see one out in the wild I do get a little goofy. I may have seen maybe 15 out in the wild in 33+ years.

Maybe they all keep them in the garage and don't drive them. I mean you have a low mileage car, how often do you drive yours?

If you want a 1993 unicorn, try a Quasar Blue. They made only seven of them before switching to Admiral Blue the next year. The only other '93 with fewer made was Dark Red Metallic with only 2. GM made 245 in Ruby Red for the Anniversary Package, the most of any color in the last three years of production. --Bob

Looking through the color combinations in the registry site, it looks like one of the most rare is a 93 white/white. Only made one.
