Buy Jerry's.... You'll waste time/money everywhere else. If you send your original in, keep the original pulley. Jerry's comes with a smaller pulley, if you spend a lot of time near the rev-limiter it could lead to Alternator SIDS.

I pull the upper plenum and the alt can be done in 45-mins. Good time to wire the secondaries open as well

I have twice now replaced alternator. I removed throttle body. Did not have to remove oil sender or tensioner. First time I had unit "rebuilt" last November. Replaced it with one of Jerry's on MR6 two days ago. Thank you Jim Voter! However I believe the easiest would be to lift plenum. As long as you have gaskets.

Ah, yes. Throttle body remove would make it so you wouldn't have to remove the oil sender. Probably makes it easier to access behind the alternator for (+) terminal too. Many ways to skin this one

We did it in 2 hours in parking lot with just the minimum of correct tools.
