Default Very good ZR-1's freinds.

My buddy Rob has a really nice 93 ZR-1 with 30K miles and dyno's at 410rwhp. Somebody hit is Z at work so once he got the insurance claim going he got the whole car repainted. I told him to take it to the people I suggested and it came out beautiful just like I told him it would. Rob just had surgery so my wife and I came by to visit with him today. I met Rob in 2007 and we all went to Corey Hendersons for the Texas BBQ that year. He's become one of my closest friends. I have many of what I consider ZR-1 acquaintances in town that I might see once a year at C&C but he's a solid friend.

Thats awesome Ricky.....Friends are hard to come by.....and Great Friends are like pulling a hens teeth.

I've got one a few friends I see regularly, and my best friend of 30 years.....the fellow would get out of his casket to come help me!

Your friends car looks awesome. You should see this red car now since extensive cleaning.

I can pull choppers from a hen faster than I can find TB extension bolts dropped in Z engine bay.

The timing of your thread is something else,Rick. I was sitting in the break room at work last night around 2200hrs when my cell phone rang. Didn't recognize the number but it was a 972 area code. I answered it and it was from a very good friend of mine in the ZR-1 world,Richard Mynatt. We had lost track of each other over the years since I sold my Vettes. Rich and I have traveled to many Vette gatherings over the years, including BG and Carlisle, and both of us have new brides since the last time we talked. Needless to say,his call made my day and we plan to get together very soon.

Rich still owns his 92 ZR-1 that he bought new and his new bride owns a Millenium Yellow 01 Coupe. He also owns a 66 big block coupe and a 69 big block coupe, both undergoing slow restorations.
