ZR-1 Net Registry Forum Rules

1. Each ZR-1 Net Registry user shall have one and only one User Name. Additional User Names will be deleted.

2. Please keep all posts in their appropriate forum sections. Posts may be moved at a Forum Administrator's or Moderator's discretion.

3. Posts containing nudity or profanity are prohibited on the forum.

4. Racial or offensive language/jokes, as well as defamatory, obscene, vulgar, hateful, or threatening statements are prohibited. Posts may not attack other members, rather than disagreeing with their post, and includes the use of or implying derogatory meanings or inference to disparage others.

5. You may post a good or bad experience with any company, vendor, or seller AND post a link to their website as long as you are reviewing the quality of their goods and services for the purpose of information to other viewers AND NOT trying to make your own sale. We do allow the vendor an opportunity to respond to your comment, then the thread will be locked for members to read. Additional posts to the thread by others, good or bad, will be blocked or deleted.
Our intention is to allow members to provide their recommendations for sellers, vendors, and service based upon their experience. We ask that members respect these recommendations.

6. We encourage threads to publicize ZR-1 related events and gatherings. The ZR-1 Net Registry is not necessarily accountable for the event or the post.

7. Links to personal raffles, pyramid marketing, or contests are prohibited.

8. Specific for the ZR-1 and ZR-1 Parts for Sale/Wanted section:
A. This section is for ZR-1s, ZR-1 parts, and ZR-1 related items.
B. Please post all replies in the thread. Do not use instant messages, e-mail or other unseen communications to reply to the seller / buyer. This way everyone gets to see all questions asked, all information posted and all pictures available. This also helps to keep rule B applicable.
C. Buyer beware. The ZR-1 Net Registry, the administrator(s), the moderator(s) and other members are not responsible or liable for anything that is purchased or sold. The Registry will only moderate what is being sold in this section but we do not in any way sponsor, support, guarantee, warranty or imply quality of any products bought or sold here. YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN, all sales are between buyer and seller only.
D. We do not charge for the posting nor do we collect any part of the sale.
E. Once your item sells, please let the administrator or moderator know so we can close the thread.
F. Please keep all posts and replies related to the original For Sale post. Threads that have been hijacked will have posts modified or deleted in whole.
G. SELLER HARASSMENT. Do not negatively haggle a seller about the price, or post things that intend to hurt potential sales especially if you are not interested in making the purchase. Comments should be kept constructive and informative.
H. CONSOLIDATE all of your for sale/wanted items into ONE thread. Do not post a separate ad for each item, we will just combine your threads anyway.
I. PRICE IS REQUIRED. We do not permit ads without an asking price for each item. "Best offer/make offer" is not an allowable substitute for posting a price. You are not allowed to "Fish" for offers. HOWEVER if you have posted a price and there is no interest you CAN lower the price or ASK the potential buyer to make you their best offer to generate interest.
J. Please list all shipping and handling charges, as well as any out-of-country shipping options.
K. Please keep all items for sale legal.
L. Calling "dibs", which is basically claiming all rights to a sale, isn't
valid here.
1. A seller has the ultimate right to sell to whomever they choose, as well as the right to refuse to sell to ANYONE or to suspend the sale with or without notice, for whatever reason.
2. A seller could have this item advertised somewhere else, such as another forum, website, or publication.
3. Calling "dibs" sometimes makes other potential buyers lose interest in the sale. Not all buyers follow through. A sale is only over when the seller (or forum Administrator/Moderator) ends the sale.

9. Failure to follow the Forum Rules will result in action by a Moderator or the Administrator in the form of warnings, editing posts, and/or removal of an offending post. Further instances of rule violation by a User will result in temporary removal of the ability to post for a period of two weeks (2-week ban). If a User continues to violate the Rules, the User will be permanently banned from posting, the User Account will be closed and the User's IP address will be blocked from any further participation in the Forum.

10. SPAM is prohibited. If you come here with the sole intention of advertising your business or disrupting this website without contributing anything to our forums, your posts will be removed. Further abuse will result in a permanent ban.

11. As part of the User Agreement for use of the ZR-1 Net Registry forums: "I acknowledge that the FORUM serves as, among other things, an ambassador of the ZR-1 Net Registry ("club") to both the public and to members. And, to protect both visitors and members, in it's sole and absolute discretion, the ZR-1 Net Registry Board of Directors may expel or suspend any member or user and suspend certain privileges for failure to follow the forum rules, disruptive conduct, or for conduct detrimental to the welfare or good operation of the ZR-1 Net Registry. I further expressly agree to abide by this Forum Rules Posting Policy and expressly acknowledge my awareness and acceptance of all such governing principles."

12. Although the administrators and moderators of ZR-1 Net Registry Forums will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of ZR-1 Net Registry Forums, nor Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. (developers of vBulletin) will be held responsible for the content of any message. The owners of ZR-1 Net Registry Forums reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.
